Rubber World Industries seeks new factory after blaze
ERJ staff report (DS)
Dubai, UAE -- Rubber World Industries (RWI), which makes closed-cell rubber insulation under the 'Gulf-O-flex' name in the Gulf and elsewhere, has expressed its confidence over the resumption of its operations, after a fire broke out at its Ajman warehouse facility on June 14, 2010. No RWI employee was hurt during the incident due to the swift implementation of a standby evacuation plan prepared in advance by the company for such emergencies, said RWI.
RWI said it will be able to deliver its customers' orders from stock and from its partner factories, which are gearing up to increase their production facilities to meet clients' requirements on time.
"“We are exploring options in terms of investing into a new facility, while making sure that all our customers' requirements are met,†said Muzammil Shaikhani, Managing Director, Rubber World Industries.
