Moscow -- A Sibur affiliate is to make automotive components in polypropylene and high density polyethylene. The company did not mention rubber in its statement.
The affiliate, named Plastic, is based in Russia's Tula region. it has signed a letter of intent with the Sollers Group to make the components and to source the raw material from Sibur group companies.
It is expected that the production of the automotive components shall begin in the first quarter of 2011.
