AirBoss Rubber Compounding wins safety honours
ERJ staff report (R&PN)
Kitchener, Ontario -- AirBoss Rubber Compounding has received an award for superior safety performance from Canada's largest health and safety organisation.
The rubber compounding arm of AirBoss of America Inc. won the Industrial Accident Prevention Association Level 3 Achievement Award. It is the culmination of three stages that encompass on-site inspection, programme review and accident statistics that require the firm to be more than 75 percent better than its peers in the industry, AirBoss said.
The firm is the 17th company in Canada to have achieved this level within the IAPA, AirBoss said.
IAPA management presented the award in June to AirBoss Plant manager Steve Barefoot, senior management and staff members.
