Goodyear to expand Dalian

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear said yesterday in its results meeting that its plant in Dalian China is being moved and expanded.

Darren Wells, EVP and CFO, said, "As part of our plan to take advantage of growth opportunities in these markets, we continue to make progress on the relocation and expansion of our Dalian, China factory which once operational will help us continue our growth in China. In addition, we also continued to reduce our cost structure in the region, with the announced closure of our factory in Taiwan."
