World carbon black industry studied
ERJ staff report (DS)
Paris -- BizAcumen Inc has published a report titled, Carbon Black - A World Market Review . The 116-page report was first published in November 2009 and is available for a price of around Euro 2300, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "This report provides a detailed analysis of the carbon black market. Demand for carbon black is driven mainly by the steady expansion of the global rubber market. Most of the demand in the carbon black market arises from tyres as compared to non-tyre rubber products. However, the virgin carbon black market is likely to come under increased pressure from governments and environmental groups, as this product is a significant greenhouse gas emitter. "
ERJ has not seen this report and can make no comment on the quality of the research or of the conclusions.
