Jaeger Gummi buys US sealing company, Unitek

Laporte, Indiana -- Hannover-based Jäger Group, which operates as Jäger Gummi und Kunststoff GmbH, has bought extrusion manufacturer, Unitek Sealing Solutions Corp. of Laporte, Indiana. The US company has been re-named as Jaeger-Unitek Sealing Solutions
Jäger expects to double employment to nearly 80 employees over the next three years, adding capacity for injection moulding in rubber and TPE materials.
Founded in 2006, LaPorte-based Unitek specialises in rubber extrusion components used in window, door and sunroof assemblies for the automotive industry.
Jäger is currently owned and managed by the third generatino of the Jäger family. The company currently employs 850 employees world-wide for us in 15 locations in Germany, the Netherlands, the USA and in China.
Jäger makes a range of goods, including rubber profiles, rubber-metal components, mats, hoses, and many other rubber products for the automotive and general industry markets.
