Tokyo – Bridgestone celebrated its twelfth year of involvement in motorcycle racing by holding its annual photography competition
The company joined the MotoGP World Championship in 2002, winning multiple World Championships and becoming the sport’s first exclusive tire supplier in 2009.
The 2014 Misano Grand Prix in Italy was marked with the third edition of the Bridgestone Photo Competition. This year’s theme sought to explore the world of MotoGP through Bridgestone’s “passion for riding, innovation and precision”.
The top three, selected by a panel of judges, were announced during the awards ceremony on 12 September. Graham Holt, from the UK, won with a winning picture which “managed to capture the spirit camaraderie and competition as well as the technical skill and prowess of Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi on the track”.
The top 20 entries were on display during the Grand Prix at the Motor Home in Misano and can be found at www.bridgestonenewsroom.eu
