Conti launches drive belt site for consumers and workshops

Hanover, Germany -- Contitech has launched a drive belt website aimed at consumers. The site aims to inform and explain the performance and characteristics of rubber drive belts from the group.

The site aims to explain the differences between timing belts, multiple V-ribbed belts and similar belts, and what the belts do in the engine. All the things that are important when changing a timing belt are summarised in a checklist. There is also an explanation of why it is safer to replace all components at the same time when the timing belt is replaced.

The site is divided into three sectins, for dealers; for workshops and for consumers.
