Bridgestone to launch racing bike tyre

Tokyo -- Bridgestone Corp. will release the new production motorcycle racing radial tyre “Battlax Racing R10” in the spring of 2011.

Bridgestone said the tyre's new profile, structure and compound offers enhanced user-friendliness and better lap times, benefiting production motorcycle racing worldwide as well as users who enjoy riding high-performance super sport bikes on circuits.

Motorcyclists in Europe will find “Battlax Racing R10” available in the replacement market in one front-wheel size and two rear-wheel sizes from Spring 2011. One medium compound is available for the front tyre, with a choice of either hard or medium compound available for each rear size.
