Dana seeks another CEO
ERJ staff report (AN)
Detroit, Michigan -- Dana Holding Corp. CEO James Sweetnam resigned last week "by mutual agreement" with the board after leading the supplier since July 2009, the company said.
Executive Chairman John Devine, 66, will become interim CEO while the board seeks a successor.
When Dana emerged from its two-year bankruptcy in February 2008, Devine, a former CFO at both General Motors and Ford Motor Co., became acting CEO, taking over after Mike Burns' four-year stint. Gary Convis, a former Toyota manufacturing executive, took over as CEO in April 2008. He became vice chairman in November, while Devine again became CEO.
