Fairlawn, Ohio -- Veyance Technologies Inc. has named John S. Hamilton president and CEO, replacing Timothy R. Toppen, effective Nov. 8.
The hose and belt maker did not say why Toppen was stepping down or where he was going.
Hamilton was recently president and CEO of Electro-Motive Diesel in LaGrange, Illinois.
Veyance Chairman Thomas Rabaut said Veyance is on sound financial footing and is confident that Hamilton and the current management team will take the company to new levels. He said Toppen will be available to ensure a smooth transition.
