CGS unit expands silicone production

Brno, Czech Republic -- Sico Rubena Company is exhibiting at MSV trade fair in Brno and launched its marketing strategy. The products include mechanical rubber, silicone profiles, fabric-reinforced silicone hoses and silicone sheets and foils produced on compression-moulded injection press machines or by conventional moulds using solid or liquid silicone.

The company will also expanded its production hall in an effort to meet the expansion plans of the Company and provide extra production space. The company said in a press release that capacity of the existing production and non-production premises has became insufficient.

Construction will begin on 1 December, with the unit in production by May 2011.
