CSRC to expand Anshan carbon black unit

Taipei, Taiwan -- CSRC Corp. said it will expand annual output of speciality carbon black by 10 million metric ton in its plant in Anshan City, northeastern China in 2011, as well as set up a new plant in India to produce carbon nanotubes, which will begin construction sometime in 2011.
H.C. Perng, acting president of CSRC, said his company will balance production and sales in the fourth quarter of this year due to the booming demand for the product. But the selling prices for the product in the fourth quarter will be as flat as the preceding quarter.
