Bridgestone makes changes to top management

Tokyo -- Bridgestone Corp. has made changes to its board of directors. Yuichiro Takenami has been promoted, taking responsibility for the non-tyre operations as well as external relations.

Seiichiro Kawai takes responsibility for advanced production technology.
