Titan extends union talks to 17 Dec

Quincy, Illinois -- Two subsidiaries of Titan International, Inc of Des Moines, Iowa, have extended their bargaining agreements with the United Steelworkers trade union to 17 Dec 2010, according to an 18 Nov announcement from the US firm.

The subsidiaries -- Titan Tire Corp of Freeport, Illinois, and Titan Tire Corp of Bryan, Ohio -- supply wheels, tyres and assemblies for off-road equipment used in agricultural, earthmoving, construction and consumer applications (including all terrain vehicles).

Negotiations between the parties have been making good progress, the firm indicated.
