ContiTech to exhibit at CeMAT Hanover
ERJ staff report (TP)
Hanover, Germany – ContiTech will be presenting its latest rubber and plastic innovations at the CeMAT in Hanover from 19-23 May.
The company will showcase its fuel and oil lines, anti-vibration technology solutions, air springs and air actuators for vibration damping and pneumatic applications at booth L11 in hall 25.
On display will be an electrically conductive fuel hose and a versatile oil line that is both “flexible and dimensionally stable”. The ultra-flexible fuel lines are suitable for gasoline, diesel, and bio-diesel. They withstand operating temperatures from -40 through 150°C. The hose cover is resistant to radiant heat of up to 150°C and, for short periods of time, even 175°C.
Both flexible and dimensionally stable, the oil lines from ContiTech are approved for operating pressure of up to 80 bar and “already successfully used” in forklift trucks. They are suitable as both low-pressure hydraulic lines and for countless other applications in which oil is transported.
ContiTech Vibration Control will showcase customised vibration-control innovations for construction machines and industrial trucks. Bushings make possible rotational movements and can also insulate against undesired vibrations. With an integrated fluid system, hydro bushings provide greater comfort in driver cabs than do classic variants.
They can, for example, be used as engine and cab mounts in industrial vehicles. The hydraulic absorbers also have an integrated fluid system. Suspension spring characteristics and damping behaviour can be separately optimised in the case of these elements.
ContiTech air springs and air actuators are used in various industrial applications – such as pneumatic lifting and press cylinders for difficult tasks in machine and plant engineering. They are of “major benefit” in pneumatic systems whenever space for installation is tight and ambient conditions are especially adverse. Air spring systems are used to store heavy systems in such a way that vibrations are dampened.
CeMAT describes itself as “the world’s leading fair for intralogistics”.
