Trelleborg names Jim Law as head of Auto unit
ERJ staff report (DS)
Stockholm, Sweden -- Trelleborg Automotive has named Jim Law as president of its Automotive business unit. He will assume his position on January 1, 2011 and succeeds Roger Johansson. Johansson will take up his new position as President and CEO of BE Group, a trading and service companies for steel and other metals in Europe, from the same date.
Law has extensive experience in the automotive industry and has held several executive positions at Trelleborg since 1997. He is currently responsible for the Business Unit Antivibration Solutions, which comprises approximately 75 percent of Trelleborg Automotive's operations.
"Jim has played a key role in driving the successful change process and the repositioning that has occurred within Trelleborg Automotive in the past years," says Peter Nilsson, President and CEO of Trelleborg. "It feels right and natural that Jim, who is already responsible for the majority of Trelleborg Automotive, will now take over and continue to further develop the operations. He has in-depth knowledge of the operations, strong customer focus and extensive global experience."
