Japan - Natural rubber prices have continued to increase in recent weeks, as fears of shortagees drive prices higher.

In Tokyo, the Tocom market saw prices of yen 397 ($4.71) per kilo for the benchmark six-month contract during today's day trading session.

In Singapore, the Sicom market saw prices well above $4.50 per kilo. Short dated RSS contracts closed around $4.60.

In India, the NMCE saw prices above Rs 200 ($4.43), with March contracts hitting Rs209.8 ($4.64)

The Shanghai Futures exchange saw limited trading above Yuan 35 ($5.26) per kilo.
