Leverkusen, Germany -- Lanxess AG is to increase prices for its Baypren branded Chloroprene business - depending on region - for up to € 400/mt (or US$ 500/mt).
Subject to the terms of any applicable contracts and regulations, the increases will take effect as of 1st of January 2011.
The company blamed higher costs.
