ISO introduces new standard for oxy-acetylene hoses
ERJ staff report (DS)
Hannover, Germany -- In future, hoses used to transport oxygen and oxy-fuel gases, as well as flux agents, have to be certified to DIN EN ISO 3821 and labeled accordingly, according to Continental AG. The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standard, replaces the European DIN EN 559.
The new standardised labeling applies for all newly manufactured oxyacetylene hoses.
