Five more join IRSG Panel of Associates

Singapore -- The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) said five more companies have joined its Panel of Associates.

DBS Vickers Securities Singapore is a member of the Singapore Exchange and is the securities arm of the DBS Group, one of the largest bank holdings company within South East Asia.

GMG Global Ltd (GMG) is a Singapore-based plantation group dedicated to long-term investments in Central & West Africa, and Asia. GMG is an integrated producer of natural rubber engaged in the planting, growing, tapping, processing, marketing and exporting of natural rubber. The Group's emphasis is on producing premium rubber products for the Europen, American and Asian markets.

Almar Trading was established in 1965. The business has expanded greatly from its modest early beginnings and has also diversified into other fields although rubber remains the dominant commodity. Its prime grade of rubber is thick pale crepe 1X the purest of all natural rubber grades, produced nowhere else but in Sri Lanka. Almar Trading also specialises in sole crepe, especially honey sole crepe manufactured in its factory.

Holdings is a leading Nigerian firm, active in the natural rubber

export processing and plantation development since 1987. After an

initial three years of export trading of crepe rubber, ribbed smoked

sheets and crumb rubber, the company took the bold steps in 1990/91 to

set up a crumb rubber export processing plant at Ughelli. Imoniyame's

strength lies in its ability to finance the production and delivery of

an average of 6 metric tonnes (dry rubber) per hour, more than any of

its competitors.
