NN restructures in Europe following bankruptcy

Johnson City, Tennessee -- NN, Inc. will cease company manufacturing operations at its German manufacturing facility, Kugelfertigung Eltmann GmbH ("Eltmann"), because the operation filed for bankruptcy at the local court on January 20, 2011. Eltmann manufactures precision steel balls for industrial and aerospace applications.
Johnson City, Tennessee-based NN owns Delta Rubber, based in Danielson, Connecticut, which is unaffected by the European restructuring. Delta supplies rubber sealing solutions for bearings, oil drilling and other industries using compression, injection and transfer molding of all major types of elastomers at its 50,000-sq.-ft. plant in Danielson, where it employs 105.
