Muncy appointed to BASF's asphalt polymer unit

Charlotte, North Carolina -- BASF has appointed Steven Muncy as market development manager, asphalt polymers, in North America. He will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Muncy has worked in the asphalt industry for more than 36 years, and has a broad range of experience in sales, marketing, technical, and operations in the emulsions and hot mix industries. Prior to joining BASF, Muncy worked for Elf Asphalt and Koch Materials Company. Most recently, he worked as a private consultant within the Highway industry.
The BASF dispersions business in North America includes all-acrylic, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene latex products used in the manufacture or formulation of various products including adhesives and elastomeric roof coatings, as well as for the modification of asphalt and concrete.
