Cheng Shin wins Nissan OE approval - report

Taipei -- Cheng Shin has reportedly been granted OEM approvals for Nissan in Japan. The Taiwanese website CENS said the company has entered the, "Japanese Nissan Motor`s global procurement platform, enabling it to offer OEM (original equipment manufacturer) tyres to Japanese carmakers."The report said Cheng Shin expects volumes to Japan to increase.

The company also expects to ship more tyres to Nissan in North America for spare tyre applications
