York, Pennsylvania -- Engel North America has installed a 285-ton rubber injection moulding machine in its York technology centre for customers to conduct mould trials.
The machinery maker put in an Engel elast 1500/285 VC US injection moulding machine that can process either strip feed rubber material or solid silicone. Engel said the machine is a horizontal tiebarless machine that has minimum retooling times, unrestricted use of the platen surface and platen parallelism to meet precise requirements.
