India releases Rubber stats for October

Kottatam, India -- The Rubber Board of India has published the October issue of Rubber Statistical News, which may be downloaded from te website.

The report says, "Natural Rubber (NR) Production in the country during October 2010 decreased to 82,400 tonnes as against the production of 88,775 tonnes during October 2009 due to heavy rain."

It contunies, "Production of Synthetic Rubber (SR) during October'10 decreased to 8,726 tonnes from 9,245 tonnes during September'10. The total production of SR during April'10 to October'10 was 62,057 tonnes compared to 61,393 tonnes during the same period of the previous year."
