NR prices resume upward trend

London -- Natural rubber (NR) prices remained stable or increased slightly overnight.
In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price moved up and down during afternoon trading on 27 January, but closed at yen 464.5 ($5.63), almost unchanged on yesterday.
In Singapore short-dated RSS3 closed at $5.70, up by almost 5 cents. Short-dated TSR20 closed unchanged at $5.40/kg .
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) bounced around before closing at Rs 251 ($5.50)/kg for May delivery.
Chinese prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE) moved slightly higher, closing above Yuan 40 ($6.07)/kg for March, April and May deliveries with longer dated contracts lower.
