Tokyo NR prices jump overnight

London -- Natural rubber (NR) prices jumped overnight.
In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price was trading at yen 472 ($5.71), towards the end of the aftenoon session on Friday 28 Jan.
In Singapore short-dated RSS3 closed at $5.70, unchanged from yesterday. Short-dated TSR20 closed up 9 cents at $5.49/kg .
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) fell before closing at Rs 245 ($5.35)/kg for May delivery.
Chinese prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE) moved slightly higher, closing above Yuan 40 /kg for March, April and May deliveries with longer dated contracts lower. April deliveries touched Yuan 41 ($6.22) during Friday trading ahead of the holidays.
