Toyo raises tyre prices in Japan
ERJ staff report (DS)
Tokyo -- Toyo Tires said it will raise prices of passenger car and light truck tyres sold in Japan, effective 1 April. The company previously announced a price increase in truck tyres.
The increases will average 7 percent and apply to all tyres sold in the Japanese domestic market, including both winter and summer tyres.
Toyo blamed higher prices of raw materials, especially natural rubber.
