Lanxess recruits Beiersdorf man to replace Zachert

Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess has named former Beiersdorf AG CFO, Dr. Bernhard Düttmann (51), to replace its own CFO, Matthias Zachert who has been appointed to the board of pharmaceutical company, Merck. He takes over from 1 April
Lanxess Supervisory Board also agreed to revoke the contract of Zachert (43) as of March 31, 2011. Zachert had requested the Board to do so following his appointment at Merck. In his current function, he has been a Member of the Board of Management since 2004.
