Conti raises Asian tyre prices
ERJ staff report (DS)
Shanghai, China -- Continental Tires will increase prices for replacement car and truck tyres in Asia from 1 April. The company blamed the move on higher raw material prices.
The increases for Continental branded passenger and light truck tyres products will be up to five per cent and for radial truck and bus products up to six per cent; for other brands owned by Continental up to nine per cent. The specific price increase level and timing will be communicated locally across the region.
