Goldman Sachs' stake in Nokian rises above 6 percent

Helsinki -- Nokian Tyres has issued a standard statement saying, "the total ownership of Goldman Sachs & Co., Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs Asset Management L.P. increased above the level of 5 percent of the share capital in Nokian Tyres plc as a result of a share transaction concluded on 11 April 2011. The Goldman Sachs Group held on deal date a total of 7,829,934 Nokian Tyres' shares representing 6,08 percent of company's 128,849,012 shares and voting rights."
