Indian Rubber Board promotes latex goods manufacture

Kottayam, Kerala, India -- India's Rubber Board has developed a training programme to help local people make goods from dipped latex.
The course content includes latex collection; preservation; concentration; compounding ingredients; latex compounding; product design; production of rubber band, gloves, foam rubber, adhesives, balloons and its quality control aspects.
The next session will be held at the Rubber Training Institute at Kottayam from 4 to 8 July 2011.
