Rosava investing in German technology
ERJ staff report (DS)
Kiev, Ukraine - JSC Rosava is installing new tyre building equipment at its tyre factory in Bela Tserkov (White Church), some 80km away from Kiev in Ukraine.
The company is installing two tyre building machines from Harburg-Freudenberger and extruders from Krauss-Maffei Berstorff.
The company said the tyre building machiness will permit improved uniformity and permit faster change-over in sizes, and this will enable Rosava to make high-performance tyres.
The first building machine will be delivered in October 2011, the second will arrive the following month.
Meanwhile, the company is also installing new extruding lines from Krauss-Maffei-Berstorff. These will probably be installed in the early months of 2012.
Earlier this year, Rosava installed new curing presses from HF, which add curing capacity of up to 600 000 car tyres per year.
