Taiwan's Kenda Rubber hit by Vietnam riots
ERJ staff report (TP)
Taipei – Taiwanese tire maker Kenda Rubber Industrial Co Ltd said it will resume work at its Vietnam factory tomorrow (16 May) following anti-China riots, reported Reuters.
A spokesman for the company said that Kenda will make up for two days' production lost due to the riots by adding shifts.
Many Taiwanese factories were the target of the anti-China riots as locals mistook the facilities for Chinese.
