Bangalore, India -- Tokai Rubber Industries, Ltd. has begun trial production of antivibration components for the automotive industry in India. The company is currently testing the production process which is expected to begin commercial operations by January 2012 and reach full capacity in 2015.
The new comapny is called Tokai Rubber Auto-Parts India Private Ltd. and is set up to make and sell automotive anti-vibration rubber components. It is located 40 km southwest of Bangalore in India's Karnataka State. The factory building is 8000 m2, on a site of 40 000 m2.Employment is expected to reach 210 by the time full capacity is reached in 2015.
Tokai said it set the plant up to address the increased demand for these products due to market expansio.
