Bridgestone sales companies are re-certified to ISO 9001
ERJ staff report (DS)
Brussels -- Bridgestone Europe has been re-certificated to ISO 9001:2008 for its sales companies and warehousing after successfully complying with the ISO Quality Management System Requirements.
The certification, independently verified by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, requires companies to meet specific quality management system requirements across all business areas.
Bridgestone Europe is one of the only major tyre companies in Europe to hold ISO 9001 certification for all their sales subsidiaries which illustrates its commitment to the eight ISO Quality Management Principles which include customer focus, involvement of people and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
Currently 21 sites across Bridgestone Europe's sales subsidiaries and warehousing are audited to ensure the company meets the ISO 9001 requirements.
