Rubber prices on 31 August

London -- On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract remained unchanged overnight, trading at around yen 375 ($4.90) per kg on Wednesday 31 August. Shorter-dated prices were up slightly, at yen 364.
In Singapore, SGX saw little trading in RSS3, but said prices for RSS3 for October deliveries were trading around $4.78, while TSR20 for delivery in January 2012 was trading around $4.70..
In India, the NMCE saw little trading and did not give prices.
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange also saw prices rise by a faction of a yuan, with September deliveries trading at around Yuan 33.6 ($5.27) per kilo
