Slovenia -- Goodyear is investing up to euro 6 million to add retreading at its Sava Tires unit in Slovenia. A spokesman from Goodyear confirmed that the company would invest euro 6 million in a plant to make mould-cure retreads for truck and bus retreads. The unit will come on stream in April 2012 and should reach full capacity of 100 000 retreads/year by 2016, when employment will be around 70.
