Yokohama adds to 'Tire Tips' video series

Fullerton, California -- Yokohama Tire Corp. has added a video focusing on fuel efficiency to its “Tire Tips” online video series.

The new video, which is the fifth installment in the series since it began in 2010, is meant to help consumers keep their vehicles and tyres optimised for maximum fuel efficiency, Yokohama said.

“When it comes to saving money on gas, not many consumers know how large a role tyres can play,” said Fred Koplin, director of marketing communications for Fullerton-based Yokohama. “In this video we explain how alignment, tyre pressure and rolling resistance can affect a vehicle's fuel efficiency.”

Yokohama's dB Super E-spec orange oil technology tyre is featured in the video, along with the ultra-thin Airtex Advanced Liner, which helps the tyre retain air and maintain proper inflation.
