Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan -- Nizhnekamsk SSC Tyre Factory has begun manufacture of a batch of 1800 rear axle tyres in size 295/80 R 22,5 . The company said this is a new type of tyre for the Kama brand, based on recently-installed manufacturing technology.
The company said, "Inclusion of new silica modifiers and the improved grade of carbon black into the rubber mixture has resulted in significant increase of the tyre elasticity, improved road-holding capacity and reduced the braking distance. In addition the new model provides for a lower noise level. "
Kama said the new all-steel construction improves significantly the retreadability of the new range.
