Dieter Schäfer Joins the FST Management Board

On January 1, 2012, Dieter Schäfer (55) will join the management board of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies as Chief Operations Officer. In his new post, he will assume responsibility for Operations, Lean, SCM, and Procurement.

Schäfer studied Business Administration at the University of Münster, Germany. After graduation, he worked both in Germany and abroad for various companies. In 2001, he assumed a managerial position at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies. From 2005 onwards, he was head of the Special Sealing Products business area.

With his appointment, the management board at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies will once again have four members (Dr. Ralf Krieger switched to the management board of the Freudenberg Group on October 1, 2011).  Claus Möhlenkamp remains spokesman for Freudenberg Sealing Technologies.
