London -- Rubber prices recovered slightly in Tokyo. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up by two yen at yen 327 ($3.96) a few minutes before the close on 06 April. Shorter-dated prices were trading at yen 321 on Friday evening.

Singapore and India markets were closed for the Good Friday holiday

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed unchanged at Yuan 29.2 ($4.61) per kilo on Friday.
