Cooper-Standard opens technical centre in Shanghai

Shanghai, China – Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc., the parent company of Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc., opened its new Asia Pacific Technical Center in Shanghai, China, on 24 July.
The Company’s Asia Pacific headquarters will also relocate from Kunshan, China to the new Shanghai facility.
The new centre and headquarters covers 762 square metres with 55 employees who support the entire region's customer base.
In June 2014, the company opened a 19,200 square metre facility in Sremska, Serbia to manufacture sealing systems in the European region. Other recent expansions include sealing production in Aguascalientes, Mexico and fluid transfer and fuel and brake delivery systems in Fairview, Michigan, both in the North American region.
Cooper Standard, headquartered in Novi, Michigan, is a global supplier of systems and components for the automotive industry. Products include sealing and trim, fuel and brake delivery, fluid transfer and anti-vibration systems. Cooper Standard employs more than 25,000 people globally and operates in 19 countries around the world.
