NR prices end the week higher

London - Rubber prices rose somewhat over the week. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract close the week at yen 268 ($3.41). Shorter-dated prices finished at yen 262.

In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX rose to close the week at $3.10; November 2012 prices ended the week at $3.04.

In India, NMCE said October prices fell by 1 to close just under Rs 195 ($3.76). November prices also fell by 1 to close just over Rs 191.

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for October closed unchanged at just under Yuan 24.0 ($3.82) per kilo on Friday. November prices were also unchanged, to close at yuan 24.2 (from 23.2).
