NR prices ease downwards on Tuesday

London - Rubber prices fell slightly overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed at just below yen 259 ($3.29) on Tuesday 16 October. Shorter-dated prices finished at yen 250.

In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading unchanged at $299.5 in late trading on Tuesday evening; November 2012 prices were a cent lower at $2.95.

In India, NMCE said November prices closed slightly down at Rs 181 ($3.42). December prices closed just below Rs 182.

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November closed fractionally higher at just over Yuan 24.4 ($3.89) per kilo on Tuesday. Prices for January 2013 closed at yuan 25.2.
