Pirelli to invest euro 100m in Slatina factory - old reports

Slatina, Romania - A series of reports from Romania say Pirelli is to invest around euro 105 million at its car tyre factory in Slatina. The reports are true, but the news is a year old.
A spokesman for Pirelli confirmed that the company announced the investment during its mid-term management plan in London a year ago. The reports say Pirelli will spend 105 million euros to expand production at its Slatina plant in Romania from 10 million tyres a year at the end of 2013 to 13 million tyres in 2017.
