NR prices mixed in Thursday's trading

London - Rubber prices were mixed during Thursday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by a yen to trade at yen 258 ($3.14) in late trading on Thursday 29 November. Shorter-dated prices also rose, to trade around yen 245 (from 243).
In Singapore, the May 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX closed was trading up 2 at just over $2.85 in late trading on Thursday evening; December 2012 prices were down at $2.79 (from $2.82).
In India, NMCE said December prices fell to close just at Rs 175 ($3.19). January prices closed at Rs 177 (from 179).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for the January 2013 closed down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 23.7 ($3.80) per kilo on Thursday. Prices for March 2013 were also down to close just below yuan 23.9 (from 24.0).
