EU commercial vehicle registrations lowest since November 2009 - ACEA

Brussels - According to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, (ACEA), November's new commercial vehicle registrations were at their lowest since November 2009, dropping by 18.5 percent compared to the same month last year.
All major markets faced a double-digit downturn, ranging from -13.6 percent in Germany to -16.1 percent in the UK, -20.7 percent in France, -25.1 percent in Spain and -27.5 percent in Italy.
From January to November, the EU recorded 1,569,390 new commercial vehicles, or 11.4 percent less than in the same period a year ago. The UK (-4.8 percent), Germany (-5.2 percent), France (-9.2 percent), Spain (-25.2 percent) and Italy (-32.5 percent) all saw their markets contract.
