Ansell buys Preferred Surgical Products

Iselin, New Jersey - Ansell Ltd, which calls itself a global leader in protection solutions, has acquired almost all assets of Preferred Surgical Products llc.

The 31 Dec 2012 acquisition was made by Ansell's Healthcare Products business, which includes latex gloves and condoms.

PSP is a privately held US company that develops solutions for infection prevention. Ansell said PSP's technology “fits well within our Sandel brand of Healthcare Safety Devices” and expands the company's safety offering.
